Elliptical
Heart and lungs; legs, glutes and some upper body.

How to do it
- Step onto the pedals and hold the moving handles.
- Start with 2-3 minutes at low resistance.
- Raise the resistance to a pace you can hold for the target time.
- Finish with 2 easy minutes.
Cues
- Body upright, without hanging off the handles.
- Push and pull with your arms too.
- Feet flat on the pedals.
Common mistakes
- Going with no resistance, very fast and bouncing.
- Leaning your weight on the handles.
- Going up on your toes.
A no-impact movement that's very easy to learn; a good alternative to running.
