Heart and lungs; hip flexors, quadriceps and calves.

How to do it
- Standing, torso upright and arms bent at 90 degrees.
- Run on the spot, lifting your knees towards hip height.
- Move your arms in time with your legs.
- Keep the rhythm for the length of the set.
Cues
- Land on the balls of your feet, short contact with the floor.
- Tall torso, without leaning back.
- Abs firm.
Common mistakes
- Leaning back to get your knees up.
- Landing on your heels.
- Starting flat out and stopping after 10 seconds.
No-impact version: march on the spot lifting your knees high, without jumping.
