How to do it

  1. Get into a high plank, hands under your shoulders and body straight.
  2. Bring one knee towards your chest without raising your hips.
  3. Switch legs with a small jump, as if running on the spot.
  4. Keep the rhythm for the length of the set.

Cues

  • Shoulders over your hands.
  • Hips level with your shoulders, don't raise them.
  • Abs tight.

Common mistakes

  • Raising your hips.
  • Dropping your head and sinking into your shoulders.
  • Bouncing out of control.

If your wrists bother you, put your hands on a bench or a step; it also makes it easier.
