1. What AppGym is
AppGym is an application for logging your gym workouts, tracking your progress and checking how exercises are done.
Data controller: Xabier Otamendi. Contact: xotamendi@gmail.com.
2. Your account
- You must be over 16 to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret.
- An account is personal: do not share it with other people.
- You can delete your account whenever you want from the Account section.
3. Health and safety
AppGym offers general information about training technique and progression. It is not medical advice and does not replace a professional (a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach). Before starting an exercise programme, especially if you have an injury or illness or have not trained for a while, consult a professional.
The weight, repetition and progression suggestions are guidelines. Always train within your limits, with good technique, and stop if you feel pain. You decide which loads to use and you are responsible for how you train.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the application for illegal purposes, or try to access other users' data, overload the service or bypass its security measures. We may suspend accounts that do so.
5. Availability
We do our best to keep the service running at all times and not to lose data, but we cannot guarantee that there will be no interruptions or errors. You can download a copy of your data at any time from the Account section.
6. Privacy
How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
7. Changes to the terms
If we change these terms in a significant way, we will let you know in the application. If you do not agree with the changes, you can delete your account.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence.
